Blues Brews and BBQ presents local Women In Blues. With Judy Brown Band, Holly Hyatt Band and guest singers and musicians: Aryn Sherrif, Bessie Wapp, Melody Diachun, Laura Landsberg, Jan Van Gold, Bonnie Johnson. Proceeds go to Nelson Cares and Kootenay Co Op Radio.

Swing Fling with Judy Brown Band

Taghum Hall, Taghum Hall Road, Nelson

Taghum Hall presents an all ages evening of live music with recording artist Judy Brown and her Kootenay band, featuring Clinton Swanson on sax, Jon Burden on guitar, Jesse Lee on bass and Don Walker on drums. Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the door, and include an optional and free swing dance lesson with instructors Rita Deane and Ian Deane. This event is supported by Kootenay Dance Beat.
